The last couple of weeks have been quite something for me, both personally and in terms of my quest to promote regional German cuisine and dispel the myth that German dinners are all meat and potatoes. So, what’s been going on?
✭ Following an interview with the Deutsche Presse-Agentur (in hospital, four days after the birth of my daughter) I’ve been featured in numerous national and regional German news publications talking about the Germans and their love of white asparagus. I even let a photographer into my home to capture my postpartum face, which you can now find in Die Welt and Bild, Stern magazine, Yahoo.de, the Rhein Neckar Zeitung, Mitteldeutsche Zeitung (in print) and even Greenpeace Magazin. If you spot me anywhere else, I’d be very grateful if you’d let me know!
✭ My recipe for Frankfurt Green Sauce was featured in The Guardian’s “Cook” supplement
✭ I’ve been interviewed by new the online Wiesbaden magazine, Merkurist, about my love of regional German food
✭ I’m also able to finally reveal that I updated a chapter in the latest (28th) edition of the American travel guide Fodor’s Germany, published last week, so if you’d like my tips for travelling this region, take a look at Chapter 10!
Congratulations on everything, especially the new baby! How brilliant on all accounts. I don’t know, the most I have ever been on was Songs of Praise once, and considering I am not religious that was by accident! 😀
Thank you very much Emma 🙂 And oh I don’t know, I reckon Songs of Praise puts you at a pretty high level of celebrity! 😉
Congratulations on all the press! 😀 And of course on your new daughter! When it rains, it pours, right? 😉
Haha exactly!! Thank you 🙂 It’s been quite an exciting couple of weeks 😉
Congratulations! 🙂
