Mainz Food & Wine Tour: a review (and video!)

Jérôme and I are thrilled at the feedback we’ve had from our first two food and wine tours of Germany’s wine capital, Mainz. Travel writer Joe Baur joined us from Düsseldorf on our most recent excursion, and made a fab short video about it. Here’s Jérôme and I in action…

If you’d like to read about Joe’s experience, he’s also written about it on his blog, Without A Path. We’ve also had some great reviews on Tripadvisor.

Fancy joining our Mainz Food and Wine Tour?

German wine expert (and Mainzer) Jérôme and I offer a three-hour tour of Mainz, starting with a tasting of some of Jérôme’s favourite regional wines in his private cellar. We then go on to explore the medieval old town of Mainz by foot, learning about the local food and wine history, culture and traditions, and tasting a variety of local culinary specialties along the way.

Keep your eyes peeled both here and on the Bottlestops site for announcements about our next dates, or if you’re travelling in a group, please get in touch to see if we can arrange a tour just for you.
