Mid December, just after we bought our Christmas t Mid December, just after we bought our Christmas tree and lots of lovely snow began to fall, and right before we all came down with the flu, I found what I thought was a load of beef bones in the freezer and decided to make Flädlesuppe. It turned out, once defrosted, that the bones were actually short ribs (beautiful, beautiful ones from @grasfresser_vom_altrhein) and so I ended up adding the slow-cooked meat to the broth I made with them along with the pancakes. Looked pretty good from here, though.
