I’ve contributed to a new guide to Europe’s best bakeries by London-based author and editor Sarah Guy. I supplied ten of the twelve German recommendations in the book, which the publisher describes as “a fascinating, mouth-watering and unique introduction to Europe’s long and impressive baking tradition”. It’s a beautifully-illustrated guide to 135 of Europe’s best bakeries from the UK, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Spain, Greece, Italy, Germany and France, and is lovely to browse through even if you’re not plotting food-focused European travels.
